Alistair Griffin
Alistair Griffin honed his songwriting skills whilst studying for an English Literature degree at York College of St John’s. His effort and dedication to detailed, emotional prose secured him a publishing and subsequent record deal.
A debut single - Bring It On - soared into the top 5 of the UK charts and was swiftly followed by a top 20 album of the same title. A second single. You And Me Tonight, achieved similar status.
Already recognised as a quality singer/songwriter, it came as no surprise when Alistair was asked to perform a duet with Bee Gee Robin Gibb, who described him as having a “unique talent”. Further testimony came when Alistair performed with Phil Collins and Lionel Ritchie in Cannes, France.
Alistair’s songs - ranging from anthemic pop/rock to superbly crafted ballads - appeal to a wide audience. This has been seen at a range of concerts selling out up and down the country wherever he has performed.
